Massage therapy is a form of manual treatment that involves manipulating the body's muscles and soft tissues to relieve pain, reduce stress, and promote relaxation of tissues. These treatments are custom to what the client is looking for such has what areas need to be treated along with the amount of pressure the client can tolerate.

Counseling is a professional, therapeutic process where a trained counselor helps individuals, couples, or groups explore their feelings, thoughts, behaviors, and life challenges in a safe and confidential environment. The goal of counseling is to help people understand and manage emotional, psychological, or relational issues, and to support them in making positive changes or decisions in their lives.
Counseling can address a wide variety of issues, including, mental health concerns, relationship issues, life transitions and personal growth.

I believe a good level of self esteem is the best internal motivator, and acts as a foundation of mental wellness. I work to support my clients as they learn how to increase their self-compassion, make realistic goals, communicate effectively, and form healthy boundaries. I am an enthusiastic and knowledgeable supporter of queer, gender non-conforming, and trans communities! I also enjoy supporting newcomers to Canada and their families.

Should you choose to meet with me, in our first session I will likely use the metaphor that you are in the driver’s seat; and I am your copilot. You are the ultimate expert on yourself. I may make suggestions on what directions we could take, but I always want my clients to feel empowered during every step of the therapeutic process.
